  • Generated new insights into the mechanisms that regulate the anti-tumor immune response and translated this information into manuscripts which guide strategic drug development and promote efficacious immunotherapies for cancer patients.

  • Investigated areas of chronic pain disorders (IBS, functional dyspepsia, chronic pelvic pain) and somatic pain syndromes in children

  • Analyzed data using human brain neuroimaging acquisition, pre-processing, and quality control

  • Utilized programs such as Matlab, GIFT, Free Surfer, SPM8 and MRIcron​​

Policy Research Analyst 

  • Conducted research on mental health of homeless youth and young adults in 2015 for the National Health Care for the Homeless Conference and Policy Symposium in Washington, D.C.

  • Analyzed multiple case studies which documented risk behaviors and attitudes among homeless young adults and its correlation to mental health. Using this information, I conducted interviews with homeless youth living in shelters throughout Los Angeles for this analysis and created a national presentation

  • Covenant House was the primary shelter in Los Angeles where I interviewed youth and young adults regarding residential and supportive services
